2 Hour Virtual PD Session:
In this professional development session, participants will explore the basic foundations of social emotional learning, with a focus on how SEL supports equitable environments. Through CASEL components of SEL, we will take a closer look at the importance of building a strong, equitable base of emotional intelligence so that academic achievement is attainable. This workshop will support participants by providing strategies and practices that will make a difference in building healthy communities.
PD session to include follow-up meeting to discuss effectiveness of strategies and implementation of new practices to inspire equitable and socially conscious environments.
